In 2022 we returned to Europe, this time to Italy and Greece. We’ve been to Italy before, but never south of Rome, so this time was Sorrento, Pompeii, Capri, and the Amalfi Coast. From there we traveled by train, ferry, and car to Athens, and the beautiful island of Hydra.
In 2015 we returned to Italy, this time with my sister Robin. This trip would focus on Venice and Rome.
In 2002 Baxter International arranged to send us to an awards dinner in Belguim. The dinner was later cancelled, but we were still allowed to use the non-refundable airline tickets. We traveled with our friends Mark and Lara Staeker, and Mark and Effie Haywood, for 12 days through Italy, Germany, France, and Belguim. We continued on our own to England for two more days before heading home. This is my journal of that trip…
